VBO40 ​

The virtual buoy VBO40 of the SAMS system replaces buoys at docks, beach shorelines, riverbanks, and cliffs. It consists of a stainless steel cage that integrates the MSA800 multisensor and a waterproof IP67 box that contains the EXX1012 datalogger, batteries, and a power supply to ensure an uninterrupted supply of the data collection system from the connection of the streetlight's power source. The IP67 box can be installed anchored to the streetlights themselves or to existing masts near the cage. It is recommended to install the cage with the multisensor in a vertical position to ensure the reliability of the measurements. The waterproof box includes a vandal-proof antenna for data transmission.
